We recently learned from an LAUSD librarian that there’s a SciFi recommended reading list for K through 12 in California. Although the WSFBC was not consulted, it appears many of the titles mirror our own reading list.

WOMENS’ SCIENCE FICTION BOOK CLUB ENDORSES BARACK OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT

This morning’s declaration from the positronic four-member brain trust reinforced recent endorsements from fellow supporters of literacy, culture, and the investigation of the space-time continuum, spurring Sci-Fi and “Geek the Vote” fans to Read a Book: Obey Sci-Fi in 2008.
